Centrino celeron processor in laptop?

Is it powerful enought for office work word excel etc and internet surfing?

also whats it like multitasking? surfing the net whilst listerning to music?

a mate of mine just got the celeron m 1.6 ghz in a dell laptop

from what i saw and did it works fine slightly slow on startup but can play c&c generals fine and most of the classics as for burnign say a dvd 45 mins or so ....
