Hi there, newbie around the OcUK woods, basically bought a Coolermaster Centurion 534 case, I put it all together ran a few tests just to see the temp differences and this is about 5-7 degrees warmer at idle. I thought it would have an exhaust fan in but it doesn't so could you suggest a good fan for the exhuast and would it be worth upgrading the intake while I am at it? My old case was a dodgy Icute modders case, which you may have seen. Its not by any means hot its 26degrees idle with 0 overclock but I was just looking for clarification.

Thanks Nick

I have a Centurion 531, it too... did not come with an exhaust fan, but you could get an Akasa Amber 120mm fan for that. :) Quiet and pushes a decent amount of air. The Centurion 534 looks like an impressive case, the black one looks the best.

Hi, yeah I bought it mainly for looks its black with silver front. Its not as solidly built as I would have expected still a bit rattly and the metal used to make it is quite thin. Cant moan for the price tho. I will stick an amber 120 exhaust in hopefully next week it will get delivered. Let you know how I get on. One thing that bothered me was the fact that the intake blows directly onto Hard Drives so not much cool air makes it to the cooler.

All good cases intakes cool the hard drive, it does not heat up the air by even 1deg usually but makes your hard drives last much longer.

Vote for a akasa amber here too, great fans.

Nice 1 Yewen, would anybody suggest replacing the current fan with and akasa also? And I never knew it wouldnt increase the temp blowing onto the HD's, you learn somet new....
Thanks all.

Thanks all.

I believe the Akasa fans will be quieter than the stock one provided, but I'm not sure. :) It won't be glowing LED though.

The Akasa fans will be quiet, if you volt mod them they can be silent while still offering adequate performance.

I use them personally, for the money they are a very good buy.

ok fan arrived, put it in for the exhaust and temps have gone down between 2 and 3 degrees, so happy with that. The fan is a right beauty too, very quiet and solidly built well reccomended.
