Hi all

I have been given an ip6 for work, but I know how cynical and intrusive my employer can be.

Is there any way I can check to see if Cerberus, or some other form of spying/'security' app has been installed and 'hidden' on the phone?

Cheers

If your employer is on the Apple Auto-enrol program, they could have a management profile that is already installed on the device, and these can be set to not allow deletion, even after a factory restore.

It came in a box but it wasn't sealed as it had to be 'set up' by one of the IT administrators to function for with the email server as well as a couple of work related iOS based apps.

So I am guessing during that process, anything could have been installed?

In fairness if it does have Cerberus on then excessive masturbation is one possible way to find out. The general rule i've always followed with 'work' hardware is don't do/search/use it in any way that I wouldn't be happy with my employer knowing about/accessing.
