Certain apps look really blurry

windows live messenger and mail look really blurry when i open them, doesnt happen with any other program.
Any info is much appreciated.

You might just have morphological AA on in the catalyst settings. Turn it off and see if it makes a difference.

can you think back to the last time it was ok? graphics driver update? that horrible (!

) theme you're using? windows update?

maybe try system restore (assuming you haven't disabled it like i do.

)

edit: the above post looks a more likely solution.

Thanks, I had exactly the same problem with Windows Movie Maker after installing Catalyst 11.6, now fixed.
