Well, that's at least not a Vive hardware problem. It looks more like a GPU driver or Viveport rendering issue to me. Try updating or rolling back driver versions would be my first port of call.
No probs! Distinct flickering polygons is fortunately never a problem with display hardware or cables, so nothing to worry about in terms of your Vive - those things are surprisingly rugged
It's almost always an application or display driver fault, and in rarer cases, a GPU hardware fault (e.g. from overzealous overclocking or failing silicon).
