Certified USB-C cables

Anyone got any recommendations for good quality certified USB-C cables?

The one that came with my NVME enclosure works at full speed but keeps disconnecting. Looking to buy a replacement and there are tons available but mostly likely tat with fake listings or evacuated claims.

I'm looking for a good solid proven/tested 10Gbps cable.

It would have been matched to the drive. I get over 800MB/s with the original one but like I said it disconnects, probably due to the bend in the middle. Why they folded it in half I'll never no.

Most seems to be only concerned with power or are 5gbps. Found a Ugreen one promising 10gbps. Not convinced though since it says it is a USB Type C 3.1 blah blah, then at the bottom later claims it can deliver 20gbps which of course only thunderbolt cables/accessories can. Wouldn't be the first Chinese manufacturer to lie.

Probably the best idea to not mess around with USB-C Type 3.1 and just buy a Thunderbolt 3 cable.

I'm using an M1 Macbook.

Will just buy a Thunderbolt 3 cable rather than mess about looking for USB-C cables. Thunderbolt 3 is massively faster than USB Type 3.1 so all the cables are backwards compatible. The apple cable (belkin) is pretty much the same price as a decent one from any other brands.

Love having an NVME drive though, so much faster than regular external usb SSD. Faster than a Samsung T5 without the crazy price. Will be even faster if I upgrade to a Thunderbolt enclosure down the road.

I bought a thunderbolt 3 cable since that will cover the faster USB standards and Thunderbolt which is at least double the USB Type 3.1 speeds.

Anyhow, turns out the bigger problem is the JMicron controller in the enclosure doesn't play well with the new Apple M1 Macs. Plugable are going to send me a new enclosure with a Realtek chipset instead.
