Hey guys so the new crimson 16.4.2 beta drivers just dropped and finally a fix for the divisions "flickering" issues has been released. So I've done a fresh install using ddu and installed crimson 16.4.2 on my system. Loaded up the division and finally! No flickering mess :D but then it happened... I walked down a few streets and bam my fps dropped from 90 to 25 and has been hanging around 25-35 fps ever since. This is with the game running on ultra 1080p with no AA. My single 290 Tri-x oc card has no problem running this game on high settings with 55-70 fps.. so surely adding another 290 to the mix should get me that 60fps ultra right? I can't get my head round it. My specs are

I5 4690k @4.5ghz
R9 290 Tri-x oc 1050/1350
R9 290 gaming 4g 1050/1350
Z97s SLI Krait
Bequiet Powerzone 1000w

BTW game is also installed on a SSD if that makes much difference. Anyone else having the same issues? Getting quite frustrating now seen as the game has been out for what seems like ages.

multi gpu is broken in this game crossfire and sli, the game itself is broken riddeled with bugs, i really hope ppl would stop buying crappy games so that studios stop making crappy games

Did you test it in other games too ? i would do a benchmark as well just to be sure

I don't have the game, its just what ive been reading in the drivers threads, and i don't use Xfire now, as its utter crap, got my 2nd card disabled, and had it like that for months and months now, its just not worth bothering with :p

Ahhh so it's everyone then :( *sigh* atleast it's not something I'm doing wrong, hopefully ubisoft/amd sorts there crap out soon every AAA title just lately seems to be a stuttering mess.

Multi-GPU setups seem to slowly be going the way of the dodo. Support has been poor on both sides for a good while now, and I can only see it dropping off a cliff once DX12 becomes the standard and game developers are the ones responsible for implementing it.

You'd hope so seeing as they just released another range topping dual gpu card but it's also down to the game giving support and that's not happening much lately.
