Right just installed two new XFX 5770's in CF on windows 7 64bit.

I have looked in device manager and i have an exclamation mark next to it.

Ive right clicked and gone to device property's and it says 'This device cannot start. (Code 10) ' and ' This device isnt using any resources because it has a problem ' Anyone had this issue before?

Which drivers should i use for CF 5770? ive tried 10.5 but they crashed my system and made it fail to load to windows every time.

No one?

Just tried to install the P5Q pro chipset drivers and its saying i cant because it doesn't support 64bit :/

also cant install new drivers because its telling me the cards arent installed :(

I have put the disk into the pc and tried to run but i get an error saying the dvd drivers on the dvd dont support the version of windows im using

Im using Windows 7 64bit
Intel q6600 @ stock
Asus P5Q pro
4GB 2 x 2GB DDR2 Kingston 8500 memory
2 x XFX 5770 1GB in CF
1TB Samsung spinpoint F3

So far ive tried all drivers from the asus website but get an error when trying to install them, the error saying they dont support 64bit operating systems

tried 10.1,2,3,4 and 5 ati drivers and all of them are making my system hang upon restarting

Yep tried both.

Get the error everytime i try and install any driver, tells me its not compatible with Windowd 7 64

Whats the best way to installl an OS with CF?

shall i format with just 1 card in and then add the second?

Or can i format with both cards in?

Have you tried 1 card at a time maybe one is faulty ?

I've had 2 in CF on a P35 and X48 chipsets on windows 7 64 with no problems.

Try right clicking it in device manager and reinstalling the driver ?

I have tried both on their own and both are fine, theres just something conflicting when i CF them

tried updating the drivers and my system just hangs

I had 5770 CF on my P5Q Deluxe, no issues whatsoever.

Have you tried to install the drivers that came with the cards (cd)?

Maybe they are not pressed very well into the PCI-e?
Does the power to each card is coming straight from the PSU, WITHOUT other devices on the same cable taking power?

Did you wiped out previous gfx cards device drivers (with the OLD card on), before you install the cards and the Catalysts?

It was all from a fresh install onto a brand new unused HDD

Its a modular psu so each 6pin pci-e cable has its own port to connect to

Im using just 1 card now and everything is perfect and the same with the second card

but when i add them together i get all sorts of problems

erm not exactly sure what the message was, forgotten already

Shall i give updating through windows a go? or do it through the bios?

thats the problem

I have tried running the files from the asus DVD which was in the box and everytime i try and run it, it tells me its not supported my by operating system

this happens when i try 32 and 64bit windows 7

just downloaded the latest bios, sent it to my usb and went into the bios.

went to Ez update, couldn't see an option for Qflash, while in BIOS update i couldn't see my usb flash drive so i couldn't update

ok got it working now :)

Just reinstalled windows 7 with 1 card, did all updates and using the drivers that came with the cards.

All i can say is wow :)

Thankyou for all your help guys, much appreciated

ye my card clocks down to 157/300 when idle, but thats fine with me, because as soon as i turn the game on, they jump to 950/1250 :D
