I have a few CD's here which are only recognised by my Mac, windows just thinks they're blank.

They contain a couple of .TIFF images and and a whole load of .CH files. I have been told that the .CH's are basically layers for the .TIFF images and if you open the .TIFF's there are grey areas where i guess these go.

Looking up .CH's online it just says that they are old OS/2 configuration files which surely isnt right in this case.

Can anyone shed any light on how i can use these files properly?

Tagged Image File Format (abbreviated TIFF) is a file format for storing images, including photographs and line art. It is as of 2009 under the control of Adobe Systems

Do you have an imaging program capable of opening TIFFs?

On the mac i only have the default image viewer, it opens the TIFFs but there are matt grey areas in the images where i guess these 'layers' are supposed to be.

I can put Photohop on there when i get back home from work. To be honest i thought i had it on there already, which is why i brough my mac laptop into work with me, but its not.
