p.s I'm still going to bash Nvidia for being overpriced load of ****,and it amazes me that people will still try to get 2** cards that are old tech/renamed rubbish.

As for the bashing, ridiculous bias is what makes the gfx forums what it is, it's annoying but we all keep coming back for more.
Don't get me wrong i have owned Nvidia before 6600gt all the way up to 8800gt, thats when they started the renaming carry on. Trying to rob people saying this is a brand new card i.e the 9800gt when in fact its the same card as the 8800gt.
I could go on.. then there are the drivers ok Ati are not perfect but they do update them a lot faster.
p.s would you buy a card from a mugger no? then why buy from Nvidia?

Can't a man point out Nvidia's failings without getting called a fanboy? Right now Nvidia deserves all the hashing it gets, not only for the fact they no video cards that can compete with ATI at any price point barring the low end they have consistently tried to manipulate the market to their own end to the expense of the consumer (Batman and the lack of AA support on ATI cards, closed sourced physics etc, card re-branding and renaming).
got to agree with you that for now ati are well in the lead but things could just as easily change. I get the feeling that fermi could be the saviour they have been waiting for and mathwat will be the only one wearing his fanboi shirt.
I'll wear it with pride mate... You really believe they can come back? perhaps they might bring a better card out but it will cost a lot more than Ati current top card.
p.s then Ati will be readying there new card's, it's not like they have had no time to refresh them maybe 5890?/5990?
