I'm after a Renthal Sprocket & Tsubaki chain kit and the one I found was a 520 conversion kit? I think my bike is 532? does it matter? Is the pitch the roller size?

Won't mess up my speedo will it?

Cheers Paul

As long as the kit has both front and rear sprockets. Quite a common mod is the 520 conversion. The chain is thinner and therefore lighter which is supposed to help with the whole unsprung weight thing. I tried once, didn't say I noticed any difference at all. I stick to the 530 now as I figured yamaha fit them for a reason.

Oh and it won't mess your gearing up unless you are going up or down tooth wise on the sprockets. If you are and your speedo is calculated from the crank the. Yes your speedo will need sorting. I have a speedo healer v4 sat in the kitchen at the moment, I need to fit it when I get a few mins.
