Chaintech

I think it was more the 478 days i dont think i heard much of them in the 775 thats when asrock started to get there name with the boards they were bringing out as far as i can remember

But i may be wrong

That's a blast from the past. Haven't heard of them for years. I am sure they used to be budget orientated like Biostar but this board with a whopping 16 phases and integrated water block changes things. The problem for them is that they are trying to break into a market where users tend to have favourites such as Asus, Gigabyte and MSI. What Chaintech have to prove is that they can release a reliable product with excellent support, especially on the bios and driver side. ECS and Foxxconn tried to break into the enthusiast market a few years ago but the boards were meh and the support just wasn't there so they failed. It will be interesting to see if Chaintech can succeed.

Used to be a very good brand, had the fastest G-Force 4600Ti at that time.

They were said to be up and coming when the Nvidia NF2 Mobo was king. they gave it all up to became Walton Chaintech and do some cheap memory modules in Asia only.

I had their Nvidia 4600Ti and 6800 Ultra.

Used to be a very good brand in the old sktA days from what I remember.
Didnt they have a board that was amazing when partnered with the bartons?
Chaintech Zunith ultra 9 something or other

Nice looking board, they made some great boards about 10 years ago, might be worth a try again.

I rememer switching from the trusty Epox 8rda to a chaintech, was a nice board, but ya had to volt mod it for any half decent overclocks. By the looks of them pictures i dont think they will have that problem anymore :)
