I've had my current chair for approximately 6 years and the padding is now knackered so i'm looking for a replacement. I like the look of the Arozzi Enzo gaming chair, but the problem is i'm 6'5". :( So would this be comfortable or am I going to have to find an alternative? I don't want to spend a fortune on a chair if i can help it, but I do sit in it quite a lot so it has to be comfortable. Thanks in advance.

I'm 6'1" and lets be generous and say big boned.. anyway, I am just putting together a new computer seat/race seat to go with my G29 wheel and Vive when it arrives.
I have just picked up a second hand black leather passenger seat from a Peugeot 206 CC in very good condition (the airbag has gone off but I don't need it anyway!). I have made a base frame from 2x4 and bolted the seat runners directly to the base, then I am going to put caster wheels with 2 that have brakes on them and as the French would say "voila".

I will probably paint the base to smarten it up, but total costs were £45 for the seat inc delivery from the bay, £4 for 10ft of 2x4 from the timber yard and about £5 for bolts/nuts/washers and a tube of no more nails and £7 for caster's so about £61 in all.

If you wanted to spend a bit more money, you can pick up all sorts of seats (BMW, Mercs, Jag's etc) but then you have to look at if you need electrics to adjust the seat. Also look for front passenger seats from quite late models and they will have had hardly any wear at all.

I'm 6ft 8" and around 18.5 stone. I've had different chairs and had to keep replacing them every 2 years for the past 14 years, which has ended up adding up to a fortune! as most were "staples blah blah" efforts for £120-150ish each. They all ended up wearing out waaaaaaaaay too soon tbh.

I decided to just chuck money at a DXRACER King-series a year ago because I wanted something that would really last. Its especially designed for bigger/taller people and can hold a weight of upto 200kg (huuuuuuuge).

It is now a year later and it still feels like new and I imagine eventually it may even end up cost efficient for me to have done this. Obviously its hugely comfortable too as a bonus.

I took ages to decide which chair to get but decided to go for the Arozzi Enzo in red and black eventually (the discount was the deciding factor as i like a bargain):D

It arrived quickly and is extremely comfortable even for my giant frame.

Good work OCUK :D
