Had been looking at the noble chairs but they do seem rather high especially the back rest, would the new hero or icon chairs be ok for all 5”5 of me or would they simply be too large.

Also what other brands should I look at that could be a better fit?

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

As a bit of a shorty myself I empathise. Have you considered just buying a shorter gas lift? Most chairs use the standard fittings so then you could buy any chair you want and then swap the gas lift over.

Or if you really fancy a gaming chair from OCUK then you could buy a replacement at the same time

    My basket at Overclockers UK:

think I'll go with the -30 gas lift should give me alot of room to play with, its a shame they don't let you order the chair with the one you want instead of spending extra though. anyone have experiance with the shorter gas lifts do they still raise the chair 10cm?

You could phone and ask them to swap it over for you without paying extra, Customer service at OCUK is very good.

Have you tried the Ikea Markus - if you have an Ikea close then you can at least try one out first :)

Do noblechairs offer seat size options? it isn't just height that's the issue...it's the seat digging into the back of your knees if it's too big.

5ft 5 is about average height for a female in this country why can't regular chairs work?
