Chalk another one up on the list...

COD2 rubbish? PGR3 average? deary me, how can you even like any games if that is what you decide is rubbish or average? Even the likes of GUN and Kameo, I guess you are just joking?

COD2 I already owned and played on the PC so yeah OK it was good if you didn't already own it. But PGR IMO was average, Kameo was a complete mess (but could have been great) and Gun well I never had the miss fortune of playing it all the way through but what I did play wasn't particulary inspiring.

I would agree, although with more content I feel Motorstorm could have been a lot better, but in the end it seemed rushed out :(

I'd have to disagree there, with the exception of Condemed I thought the 360launch titles were either rubbish or extremely average.

That's cool. Obviously everyone can have their own opinion.

Mine is that COD2, Kameo, Condemned and PGR are all exceedingly good titles, particularly considering they are all first gen releases.

Kameo still holds up extremely well to this day.

Yeah I agree completely, I bought my first PS3 at UK launch and although Motorstorm was fun at first it becamse very repetitive very quickly and there really wasn't much to the game.

Resistance was quite good fun online but the single player was decidedly average although I regret not finishing it as I hate not finishing games :p I might pick it up on the cheap now and play it again.

It's cos you were crap at Motorstorm :p

I enjoyed it when we all got our PS3's and played MS and F1 :D Was a refreshing change from the 360. Then everyone sold theres :(

Holy thread revival batman.

This is the worst part of ordering something expensive online, the wait. Just emailed my tutor to say i couldn't make it to a lecture as i have to give him at least 2 hours notice to get away with it, i bet it'll arrive 5 mins before the lecture starts. Shameful i know, but i've got lectures all day tomorrow (as opposed to just the one today) so wouldn't be able to get it till Monday and i'm just a big kid frankly.

Even got a copy of Drakes Fortune sat in front of me D:

Bought myself another PS3 a couple of weeks ago and i'm still somewhat underwhelmed with the games available for it (luckily it's a Blu Ray player) Drakes is alright, kinda like assasins creed with less freedom to climb around and guns, but at least Assasins creed has massive potential, Drakes has about as much potential as a brick, painfully linear, dodgy story line, it's quite fun but it has nothing that makes me want to go back for it except to force myself to finish off the last few bits just to complete it. I'd still hapily go back to playing assasins creed for a bit if not just to ransomly assasinate people.

Heavenly sword was a really fun game, had an interesting storyline, and was generally really well done, yes it's linear but it's still a very good game. The only game on my Ps3 that gets any play is F1, which is a very, very good game, infuriating but one of those games that when you actually do something other than plough into a wall you feel good.

the only game out that i want on the Ps3 at the moment is PES, and thats just because i much prefer the PS3 pad for football games, don't really know why as i like my 360 controller more for everything else.

In defence of the PS3 there are what looks like some great games coming out, and at 300 quid with all thats included it presents real value for money, if i hadn't got 90% of what i paid for my launch one back i'd be a bit irritated at myself for not waiting as at launch the PS3 presented terrible value for money but now they really have stolen a march on MS with very little cut out in the 40gb while selling everything it still offeres at a very reasonable price.
