Challenging skill based Game.

Is there any good pc games sort of like Bayonetta or Devil May Cry or Gran Turismo on the pc which are bar steward hard, but in a good way not an unfair way.

I've tried Dirt 2, thats no good, its all flash, as if its saying look at me I'm so cool, and the difficulty feels artificial, too easy.

I'm not looking for one in a particular genre, just a progression in difficulties whereby you unlock stuff the better you play. So it encourages you to play better and get skilled at it.

Super Meat Boy sounds good, I've played the flash version and that seemed ok, but I'm not really a fan of platformers, except for N.

I've got Trials 2 played that until I got to the vertical wall tried it over a hundred times, uninstalled and am never playing it again.
