Champions League final in NYC

Going on holiday for 5 days to NYC arriving on the 24th, at 11.30 EST which should just give me enough time to get to the hotel and get out to watch the game. Given that Chelsea got knocked out and the final is now worth watching, can anyone recommend a place to watch it?

We're staying in Midtown, and a quick Google has thrown up Jack Demsey's, which caught my eye as it appears to be primarily a 'soccer' bar? Anyone have any experience of the place?

Red Lion on Bleecker can be a good a football bar. 1842 on Bleecker has plenty of screens, Nevada Smith's on 12th/3rd has been ruined since they renovated it.

Go for the Red Lion would be my advice. I'm not aware of a specific Real Madrid bar but a search will find you one if there is.

I clicked expecting to laugh at the hilarious rage shown in this thread after a decision to host the next CL final there... much disappoint.
