Champions League group stage Draw

I don't really know, just the way everyone on here is talking and on SSN, it would seem as if they were huge enemies. And iirc wasnt there a lot of trouble in one of the testimonials played between the 2 clubs a few years back?
 
Couldn't be further form the truth, I can remember at least 3 testimonials (Keane, Giggs, Boyd) and umpteen other friendlies recently where there has been little or no trouble.


I'm glad we drew them, I've been needing a reason to hate Man U for donkeys years, I've felt left out from everyone else. ;)
 
I dont hate them, i dont like them because i was brought up a Prody but i dont see any football rivalry in anyway apart from the fact its 2 British teams and they would like to get one over on an English team, other than that i dunno but tbh MU have kicked off with probably every league team at one point or another

You wouldnt expect us to scrap with Wolves fans but they did
 
I don't dislike Man Utd, I like watching good football so quite like them actually. I just don't like my own team being spoken of like their some hatchet men when they aren't from someone who probably hasn't seen us play a competitive game this season.

I didnt mean between supporters but on the pitch. But im proberly wrong anyway so never mind

Don't know if anyone watched that Real Football Factories on Bravo a while back, but Man Utd and Spurs are supposed to be 2 of the biggest groups of hooligans. Which was a bit of a suprise considering how many prawn sandwhich men visit old toilet now days ;)
LOL just turned Bravo on and they are repeating the North West programme. They had nothing on Liverpool on it though (as you know our fans are saints ;) ) mainly on Man Utd.

Celtic - ManU will be hyped up just like the Rangers clash few seasons ago. Did they honestly think Rangers would stand a chance? :o :p and now Celtic...

Some interesting draws. Milan should coast through. Inter have it tough, but should get through. Would like to see Roma do well, they have been waiting a while and now a chance to show what they can be capable of…and whup the Greeks too. Shame the Viola aren’t in it, Roma took their place, would have provided us with some very entertaining games i feel. Glad to see them back in Serie A, always love watching them play.

Want to see Lyon do well again! :cool:

Inter and Bayern, however two strong teams to compete against.

LIVERPOOL
PSV Eindhoven
Galatasaray
Bordeaux


PSV are pretty consistently bad unfortunately, however i do feel Liverpool and PSV will get through.

Group D
VALENCIA
Roma
Shakhtar Donetsk
Olympiakos

Roma and Valencia for me.

Group E
REAL MADRID
Lyon
Dynamo Kiev
Steaua Bucharest

Kiev never really lived up to hype, Madrid and Lyon to go through


Group F
MANCHESTER UNITED
Benfica
Celtic
FC Copenhagen

Will be a tough group for Celtic, ManU and Benefica for me.

Group G
ARSENAL
Porto
CSKA Moscow
Hamburg

Arsenal should stroll this, Porto should go through.

Group H
AC MILAN
Anderlecht
Lille
AEK Athens

Milan easy passage through I think, Anderlecht normally do well.

Things can be taken out of context on a forum young jedi and as you seem to dig at MU in every other post you can understand why people may take offence now cuddle up in your Stevie G duvet set and go to sleep

I wouldn't say ive had a particular dig at Man Utd, maybe the ocasional banter, but surely thats expected between Man Utd and Liverpool fans.
And i have been using smiley to make sure that when ive been messing about things don't get taken out of context (as advised by the great MrG).
But as far as im concerned i have no problem with you or any other Man Utd fan on here (maybe the odd Chelsea fan though ;) ).
