Who do you reckon will win the championship this year?
I'm a Blackburn fan so obviously I'd hope us, but with us being out of the championship for a few years I've called behind on who else is a threat in the league.
Partly I wouldn't call it till the transfer window shuts and if Blackpool hang on to Phillips/Ince, along with if Blackburn can buy anyone (the two teams that one way or another should be up there).
Charlton and Wednesday will be this years dark horses, both have hit the ground running and look pretty good, as well as Forest who are coming back from basically collapsing last year (was appalled at how bad they were).
Leicester will (yet again) be the under performers and Watford will be the tail end of the playoffs (outsiders to push for promotion but have some real talent on loan from their associated clubs)
Blackburn have got the players on paper you're right, we just really don't seem to be playing well. I've had to miss the past 2 games (been at Leeds festival) but despite winning my dad said we were awful - although could come in handy.
I like Blackpool, I hope they do go up, good squad and manager.
Blackburn, Wolves, Bolton, Forest, Cardiff, Blackpool are all solid shouts then you could look at Brighton, Boro, Leeds and Leicster and not be a mike off.
I fancy Blackburn personally but I can see Brighton/Pool and Forest running them close.
After watching Forest last night I don't think they're ready this season. My mate who supports Forest would be happy with a mid table finish, they've spent money but haven't exactly bought quality. Halford and Harding as full backs? Eeeek.
See how Blackburn get on at Elland Road on Sat, I fancy us to beat them.
Starting to agree that Rodriguez has been a bit of a waste of cash so far.
Amazed Blackburn have met the 8m price tag though! I thought common sense would prevail and no one would touch him till January when he would be even more (and the prem get a bit desperate).
