Championship Play-Off Thread

Nottingham played well, unlucky not to take us in to extra time.

Just need Cardiff to lose, so I can go to Wembley in some form of reasonable manner :p

How many times did Forest hit the woodwork? I counted 3. :o

Aye.

Fair play to Swansea. Better side over the 2 legs - you had the quality where we needed luck.

Hoping Reading smash Cardiff tomorrow night to set up a final between 2 sides I won't mind seeing promoted (though rooting for Reading obvs. :p)

Just got in, glad I can type as I sure can't speak at the moment. Thought Forest were going to take it to extra time at the end, no fingernails left.

Are you for real? If we do go up, please don't turn up in your man u, Liverpool, etc clobber cos you'll get laughed out of the stadium and be denying a proper jack a seat in the process! Plastics belong in the armchair.:)

I didn't mention any other particular team, glad Swansea won that, well deserved in the end.

They've been far more impressive than Cardiff in their last few games, Cardiff are the ultimate hit'n'hope team

Mainly Bellamy hitting some broad and then hoping he doesn't end up in jail :p

I am proud of the lads after that second half performance, we were great! On another day we would have taken it to extra time with Swansea really rattled, although we did look knackered ourselves. We had another blatant penalty turned down again and hit the woodwork 3 or 4 times, our luck was just against us in that second half.

Credit to Swansea though, two absolute peaches of goals in 5 minutes where we seemed to just drop off.

No doubt the best team has gone through over the two legs with the very resilient home performance that set things up nicely for them at the Liberty but things could have been oh-so different. I am not heartbroken like I was after Sheff U, Yeovil and Blackpool because we gave it a damn good go.

All Welsh final with Swansea winning would be great.

Now for a boring football-less summer!

lol Earnshaw!!! Why they don't play him more I don't know.

He has been very frustrating this year and after his performance in the last leg he earned his place on the bench so to speak but usually comes good in the big games. In hindsight he probably should have come on earlier rather than Boyd but then he could have easily had another stinker.

:D The morning after! Just proud of the forest lads and pleased for Swansea who play football the right way.

Cardiff v Reading today, will take a hell of a match to beat last night!

Loads of Cardiff supporters in work feeling negative about tonight. Not one has said they feel that they can win :/
