Chance of getting a Wii

Ok, heres the story, im based in Gibraltar, my GF who is currently in sheffield is attempting to get one, a friends of mine has popped over to the UK for a week and hes going to be looking everywhere for one too.

we havent "ordered one" as the shops havent allowed us to put our name down. although my GF has been told to ring up on certain days..

whats the chance ppl?

People who pre-ordered last month are being told they might not see their Wii before Christmas, so I would say a snowball's chance in Hell. Tell your girlfriend to scour every local supermarket though, some keep getting the odd one or two in.

When you say based in Gib are you posted there?
I lived up at Buena Vista Barracks for 4 years above camp bay, loved it.

I have a spare wii but it is on an auction site right now.

Do we have any definite confirmations of second batches, or sizes of, or time, or anything? It just seems to be mostly guesswork by people at the moment as to whether you'd be able to get one. There might be loads (unlikely, but possible), there might be barely any (more likely), but can anyone really say what'll happen with any kind of authority?

To up your chances.. make a list of all the 24hr supermarkets numbers etc.. and call them everyday.. do the same with game shops etc

tis my plan.. ill just leave work for an hr to go pick it up if i have to aint no big deal

Yeah, well im basically from Gibraltar, ive been up Buena Vista Barracks hundreds of times, as i have a lot of friends in the MOD.
