Change controller priority/ gamepad issues

Hello,

I have multiple input devices on my pc, my problem is, some games don't allow any but the default controller to play, while others allow you to use all.

Let me explain: I have 2 xbox360 controllers. A wired one and a wireless one, the wired one is ''controller 1'' according to the light and the driver. The wireless is controller number 2 when I turn it on, when I press the X the driver tells me it's ''controller 2''.

These are my only 2 ximput controllers, they seem to work on all modern games.

I also had a human interface device because I had ''unified remote'' installed, a great app for controlling your pc with your phone/tablet, but it seems to give issues:

I started up bioshock infinite, and while I could use my xbox360 controllers ( both of em) in the menu but ingame it would spin circles, I fixed this by uninstalling unified remote. Now I can use my primary 360 controller ( the wired one) to play, but not my wireless, the wireless only navigates the menu. The same issue happened on Sleeping Dogs, I can use both controllers in the menu, and pressing start on controller 2 will indeed go to the menu, however I can't play the game with the wireless controller.

It is unfortunately lazy programming, as other games, like Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, will auto detect what controller you want to use, the first thing you use to skip the intro, be that my 360 wired, or the 360 wireless, will be the default controller that session... This is one thing EA games at least does well.

So my question is, how do I change priority, make the wireless ''controller 1'' and the wired ''controller 2'''? (So I can use my wireless controller for playing those games who have lazy devs in terms of controller detection instead of my wired one)

And my second question is, is there a way to get unified remote HID to be ignored by games ? I really want unified remote back but it gives issues with games that only support 1 controller.

Is there another way ?

Bit of a hassle constantly unplugging the wired one, defeats the point of having a pad ready to play on the couch ?
( The whole point I use pads is sitting further away from pc, smash the ''X'' 2 times when I want it, start Big Picture, and play a game)

Plus this doesn't fix my problem with unified remote...

Edit : whoever moved this to gaming peripherals ? It's a game/software issue, not a hardware issue I'm having... I'm open to fixes for specific games ( like Bioshock Infinite or Sleeping Dogs) to support more than 1 pad too! Not sure if this is the correct place for it ?

The issue is not with the x360 pads, but with how games handle input devices ( like unified remote, nothing to do with gaming perhiperals) in general...
