ok will start with the most important (and probable not doable) question. i have just fitted a GTX 660 Ti. its connected to tv via hdmi and monitor via dvi. thing is, i dont have the monitor on very much, so other than unplugging it when not in use, is there any way to make the bios output to the hdmi by default (at the moment everything up until desktop goes through dvi)?
secondly, and less importantly, machine had a GTX 480 in previously which worked fine with the HD 4000, uninstalled nvidia drivers, fitted gtx 660 and booted to desktop. installed nvidia drivers and i get the windows screen and then a black screen and nothing else. booted to safemode, removed drivers, fitted gtx 480 back in and same happens when drivers are installed. remove drivers and both cards boot to windows fine. disabled HD 4000 and installed nvidia drivers and works fine. enable HD 4000 and back to the black screen problem. i have tried monitor in both HD 4000 and GTX 660 and nothing after the windows screen. any ideas? its not an issue, just would be nice to use virtu if possible again.
