you don't move program files. You only install them in different directory's if they offer to install elsewhere at the start.
Two usefull things he could do however is removing page file by right clicking the window icon going onto system > Advanced system settings > Advanced > Performance settings >Advance > Virtual memory ( change ) then in there untick automatically manage paging file and set it to no paging file.
You can also then IF he does not use the hibernate feature remove it all together freeing a substantial amount of space. To do this open CMD ( As an administrator<-- important)
And type powercfg -h off
This will remove hibernate and frees up a good amount of space.
Thats the way i have always done it . Thought it could be moved to save me having to constantly put right the nephews machine . Oh well thanks for the advice
