Change desktop icon text drop shadow?

Hi.

Anyone know how, if possible, to change the opacity of the text drop shadows on the dektop icons in XP pro?

If I understand what you are trying to do, My Computer -> Right click -> Properties -> Advanced tab -> (Performance) Settings -> Go to the custom radio button -> (second from the bottom) Use drop shadows.... (tick it - makes icon text transparent)

hi, thanks for the reply.

Not exactly what i was wanting to do though. I was wanting to keep the drop shadow, only make the shadow more transparent.
