Change Email Addy on Live????

How can i change the email account which i used when i first signed up for Live. It's the email address i used for the passport login?

I've looked through the options but the only way i can think of is to create a new Microsoft Passport account and a new live account? Or can i create a new passport and assign my gamertag to it? Or am i just totally confused?

Bugger, so i would have to cancel the account and start over? In that case i would lose my gamertag? Also my downloads and points?
