My headlight is really dim so brought a new bulb.

Only problem is it seems super complicated to get it fitted. As in i cant reach half the screws to take the side of the fairing off.

Anyone got any advise, or would i be better of asking the garage to fit it when i get the mot done in august ?

Maybe pick up a Haynes manual or try searching for a guide? A garage could charge quite a bit if there is a lot of fiddily bits to remove.

Definitely get a Haynes manual. Or find a service manual on the net.

I would recommend trying it yourself. There's nothing like the satisfaction you get when you stand back and think, "I did that!"

Or the disappointment when you step back and see a crack in your fairing and think "****, I did that!" lol.

In all seriousness though, get yourself a Haynes manual and read up how to do it, Morbius is right, it's very satisfying doing work on your own bike, getting it to how you want it :).

doesnt it have a twist off cap just behind headlight housing? some have that and you pull out the bulb/plug new one in without touching the fairing ect

That's what I was thinking the headlight bulbs on my CBR125 and CBR600, I was able to do without taking anything off apart from the headlight covers... fiddly yes and you will swear but I'd be surprised if you need to take fairing off?
