change htt multi on asrock dual sata2

hi there

i was wondering how I can lower the HTT Multiplier to 3x on this motherboard as I want to use FSB's above 250. I can get it to run at 260MHz FSB, but 280 will lock and 270 is unstable.

is it 'cpu - nb link speed' in advanced chipset settings? ive tried changing these to 600 and it doesnt post.

You've found the right option, I don't know why it isn't working for you though

Have you upated to latest bios ? Theres an annoying fsb cap between 270-280 in bioses below 1.7

My BIOS is version 1.7 so I didnt bother updating it.

I can get it to 270FSB but above that it just won't POST, maybe its the processor needing more volts than the board can supply - only a 3000+ 64.
