Change Ibook OS from 10.3.9 to higher

Got a Mac ibook i have fixed.

But i need to install say 10.5 OSx or higher to use the office stuff and CS5 stuff.

Is it possible to update it?

If i download 10.6.4 snow leperd will it work?

One it would be illegal two it wouldn't work anyway as you need an Intel CPU.

According to Apple, Snow Leopard needs an Intel processor, amongst its min requirements.

Also, i assume when you say download, you mean buy.

10.4 Tiger will work, but 10.5 Leopard and 10.6 Snow Leopard both need Intel CPUs.

As Office requires 10.4.9

Only Snow Leopard needs an Intel, an iBook G4 can run 10.5

what are the specs for the iBook?
10.5 minimum needs an 867Mhz G4 processor and 1Gb ram, you might find that 10.4 will work better on that machine then 10.5
if you install 10.4.anything, software update will update to 10.4.11 thats the cutoff for when 10.5 released.
Adobe Cs5 anything wont work, it requires a multi CPU setup, you'd be better off with adobe cs2 or earlier on an iBook, even then the machine will be pushed depending on the amount of ram installed

i wouldnt know where to look within the OS for that info.
