Hi guys,
We changed our wireless access point at work today and now everything's going wrong
Although our hosts are still able to connect and access their accounts/intranet etc, it seems the Group Policy isn't getting through or being applied – users appear to have an unrestricted desktop, and some of the shortcuts we've made in GP aren't there… hosts are also missing a shared partition on the server, but I think that's also down alto GP – its where the shortcuts are stored.
The new AP is a Cisco business class model (the AP is the only thing that we've deduced is responsible because everything was fine yesterday with the old one!) but it wasn't complicated to setup or anything, it was actually very straight-forward.
As a further point to note, we've had to manually add 'reserved' host ip addresses that would normally be received via dhcp under normal circumstances? Otherwise we get limited connectivity; we can connect to the AP but not the network.
Any ideas
