Change Secondary DNS to Primary

Hi guys, hope you can help me with the following problem.

I have two DNS servers, 1 running Windows 2008, the other running 2008 R2. The machine running R2 is currently setup as a secondary DNS server. I would like to make this machine the primary DNS and change the 2008 machine into the secondary.

How would I go about doing this?

is this within an AD setup?

Hi guys, I managed to rectify the issue by changing the zone type on the new 2008 R2 DC to 'primary' and likewise for the reverse lookup zone.
