I'm going to be buyin an Antec Kuhler 920 soon.

I don't mind splashing out a few extra quid on a better thermal compound if it will yeild better results (even if they are marginal)

Can anyone reccomend me a TIM cleanup kit and a better compound than is already applied to the 920? (Somehow I don't think the AS2 I have from my AXIA 'Y' days would cut it :p)

As fas as i'm aware they use 'shin etsu' on their Kuhler range which is a quality paste - personally i would stick with the pre-applied.

Otherwise buy some IPA and wipe off the pre-applied with paper towel and then buy some MX4, AS5 or similar (they're all much of a muchness) - but the 'shin etsu' should give similar temps.

+1 > but a spare tube of TIM will come in handy MX4.

also agree, the pre-applied paste is excellent.
But once you get into adding hardware yourself, you should always have a spare tube of paste handy. :)
