Hi All,
I have been building PCs for nearly two decades now, and from the modern onset of VGA cards I have sided with red, bar a 480Ti POS and the very excellent 8800GTX, I had the OC2 BFG one!
Up until yesterday, and the purchase of the excellent Dell 2515H IPS to replace my aging Samsung TN, I had 280X crossfire!
These cards were only just over a year old, but I felt the crossfire driver support was woeful, full WHQL support from ATi poor, it took them until the July catalyst to enable VSR for the cards! Which I felt was not good enough!
The Fury X which I anticipated, also did not deliver!
So with a heavy heart, and a much lighter wallet! I bought the Zotac AMP Extreme 980Ti, and all I can say is Wow! Card is a beast, massively OCd out the box, cool never seen it above 72oC and whisper quiet!
Maybe the green team isn't so bad after all!
Happy gaming!
