Changed fan direction, big temp change

Hi,

I have a HAFX with a 240mm radiator mounted at the top of the case
I had 2 x Corsair 120mm fans mounted underneath the radiator pushing up, and two Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1800s on the top pulling up

After reading some comments from rjkoneil about push pull and airflow i removed the two lower fans, and changed the top fans to push air down into the case

My temps using Prime 95 blend dropped from peaking at 83 degrees to now peaking at 69

Pretty incredible difference, that i really wasn't expecting

are your 580s reference or non-ref coolers? (assuming it's only the cpu in your loop?)

Would make sense if they're non ref and dumping a crapload of hot air into the case, only to be passed through your rad in the original setup.
