My main aim in this is to have a build that wont need upgrading for a good amount of time (Few years)
Ok, so originally I was going to buy a pre-built, pre-overclocked system from OCUK but I ended up changing my mind after thinking about it and going with the following set-up below...

CPU: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-172-IN

GPU: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-105-XF

Motherboard: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-135-AB

Memory: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-136-CS

PSU: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-018-OC

Case: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-065-AN

HDD: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-036-WD

Will all this go together fine?
Any contructive criticism or suggestions would be great please?
Also any alternative/Reccomendations?

Thanks in Advance!:)

I'm going to be blunt as I've spent all day being articulate, sorry :p

Don't get a GTX, the new 8800GT is basically as good as it, and is a good £100+ cheaper.

Don't get that case. It will be a flimsy plastic nightmare. Invest in an decent Antec, Akasa or Lian Li. I know yuo probably picked the case due to it looking pretty different/original, but any benefits this brings will swiftly be outweighed by annoyances arising from it being difficult to work with and awful build quality.I'm not particularly hot on cases, but several GH guys are so they'll be able to help you out with specific choices.

Get a 520w power supply. 850w is simply too much, even SLI'd GTX's with silly amounts of HDD's don't use more than 620w. It'll just be a waste of your leccy bill.

Don't buy in to DDR3. This is the most important thing you must change. It won't provide any real boost in performance and costs the earth, bare in mind you can get 4GB of top brand 6400 for under £90.

everyone i agree with, ddr3 pointless at this present time, case is all looks no play, go extra phew quid and get retail q6600 ?, definatly get rid of the gtx, and get GT, as in a week or so anyway GTX is going to be over run by the GTS, you will look a fooool :p, psu over power...

if i weere you id listen to everyone in here :)

just ordered my system 2 hours ago from here, 750+ worth, gonna be fun building, never built one before

good luck

Ok, thanks for all the replys so far...

My budget is around £1k and so far that comes in at £900... Is there anything I could possibly upgrade to a better model etc?
Btw it's all just for the PC itself, dont need monitor etc and my OS will be Vista Premoum 64bit.

And is that new set-up fine so far?

Also, think I should wait for the new GTS G92's to come out?

Worked on one of those cases yesterday.
Far from being a 'flimsy plastic nightmare' it is well contrusted. But that is where the good stuff ends. It IS a nightmare to work with after its all been nicely setup. Both side panels and at least 8 thumb screws must be removed just to fix another hard drive. Cables are always in the way and need to be moved/unplugged to work on anything. Front fans and their little speed adjusters are a pain to get to if you want to adust things. Once it's all together and working it looks good though.
