Changeing memory

Hi i want to get some faster memory i currently have Corsair XMS2 4GB 800mhz and i want this memory

Is it worth the upgrade or should i just put another 4GB corsair in motherboard & CPU specs bellow in case you need it.

Oh i Highly doubt you will notice the difference mate, have you overclocked the cpu.?
i would only upgrade from 800 . 1066 if its holding the cpu back from going higher.

OS are you using.?

Hi i tryed to overclock my CPU but it didn't pass prime95 no matter what i did so i put it back to stock will try again soon.

My os is Win 7 64bit.

When you started to overclock did you lower the memory multiplier.

yea i put it down to something like 700mhz

what does unlink mean :confused:

Your fsb and memory frequency are not sync'd

you can up the fsb without altering the memory speed.

then just manually set the ram and cpu frequency
