Changing a battery

Not had to do this before so I need a little advice on changing the battery. The manual is no help at all as it just says 'we recommend you go to the dealership'. It seems simple enough but is there more to it? I have a Diesel 2010 Renault Laguna 2.0 DCi. Apparently I need a type 96 battery and I found one online for less than £60 from http://www.carbatteries-online.co.uk.

If it looks awkward (some cars will be a royal pita), is it worth paying Halfords a couple of quid to do it?

Cheers for the advice, called a local company and they will supply and fit for £70 all in. Knowing my luck, my car will be the PITA to change the battery.
