changing a component without stripping down all the hosing

Has anyone ever done this? I'd like to go sli 880's when they come out and wondered how many folk have attempted it. Drain out the coolant as much as poss using your drain point. Attach the cards, and fill the loop back up.

Viable?

i added my second 290x this way.

I put the case on its front and drained what I could, well enough that the top rad wasnt going to leak and undid it. I did put stops in the rad etc just in case but it worked 100%

use quick disconnects...they're the best things since sliced bread lol

quick disconnects are bloody marvellous. they downside to them is they take up a bit of space so measure up!
