Hi there,

Is there anyway to change these inw indows without the ATI control center thingy as that is quite resoruce consuming...?

I have an X800XT (PCI-e)

Thanks....

You can always uninstall the driver, go to ati.com and download the "driver only" from the low speed user section thingy.

After you just install the driver, take a look at ATi Tool, thats what i'm using at the moment and its so much quicker, and less resource hungry :)

edit: You can also set up profiles for every game you play, so when it loads, it sets certain types of AA + AF settings

Its ATI Tray Tools you want, and the CCC only consumes memory when its open doesn't it, when you set the AA/AF close it the memory will be freed.

But its still has process' running thopugh doesn't it?

Yeah it does, ive never had any problems with it, you could also try the 6.4's with the old Control Panel from here , and i suppose if you want the latest 6.5's, then you could just download the 6.5 display drivers seperately and install em to use 6.5's with the old CP. :)

No need found the 6.5's with the old CP here :)
