Changing Avatar

Hi im still not used to everything on here but for some reason I can't change my avatar and I was wondering if anyone could help me here, thanks in advance.

You can only use the (stupid) avatars the forum provides. No custom avatars (and subsequently fun) allowed.

Aww man that sucks considering it shows you a edit avatar bit in edit profile settings. I just thought you couldn't edit your avatar until you posted a certain number of comments.

Actually, sometimes fun is allowed when an avatar ends up with a pancake on it's head. But christ knows the pancake horse has well and truly been flogged to death, resurrected several times, each time with another round of flogging before it ended up in the depths of hell to be surrounded by people poking it with pancakes.

While there's no other display pictures outside of the forum defaults, I find most people use their signatures as a form of display picture.

You can select an avatar from the choices available at that level after a certain number of posts - 100, 500, 1,000 etc but it's all explained in the FAQ.
