Changing Boinc email address

If I change it on the Boinc my account page will it cause any problems, did it get entered when setting up each machine, I can't renember.

lol, I often see the option when checking on my stats. I'd love to get rid of the addy as its old and gets spammed mercilously, but havn't dared try it incase my crunchers went **** up.
