Hey OcUK, I was wondering how diffucult it is to rip out my computers guts and put them into a new case. My current case is a Slim one and therefore seriously limits my upgrading potential becuase of its internal size.
I currently have a HD 6670 Low Profile graphics card, as the best graphics card i could find that would actually fit, and i think my PSU isn't good enough for what i've got in there now...
I have removed nearly everything out of my case before, right down to the motherboard (to fit a new cpu fan, had to get underneath the mobo) so i'm not too worried about actually getting in there with a screwdriver and big hammer (hammers fix everything!), Its just the compatibility between components and new case i'm not too sure about. I haven't chosen a new case yet, so that certainly keeps my options quite open.
edit: just learnt its size is called "Small Form Factor (SFF)
The Base computer is a Acer Aspire X3300 - Case image
And the upgrades i've done to it is, more ram 8GB x2 4gb and hd 6670 low profile card, and a new fan for the cpu.
