Changing colour of case help

Hello i want to change the colour of my ATSC840 as the brushed finished gets scratached by just looking at it, so its looking quite tatty at the moment.
Is it just a question of sanding down the black finish and applying the new paint? What is the best cost effective panit to use? I am thinking of going two tone, black and police light blue, if that colour exsists lol. Thanks for any help provided.

Great case and its my one pet hate that the outside finish (mines black) shows up every finger print. You thinking of painting inside or outside or both?

Both. matt black inside, black drive bays, blue side pannels and the front edges.

Have you a window side panel ? If not I'd save on the hassle on spraying inside as it can't be seen, as for rest its just taking the time to rub it down lightly and making sure its clean before spraying. Oh and take the time to mask off any areas ie front badge that you dont want painted.
