Changing components but keeping HDD

My motherboard died the other day and I decided to buy a few new parts rather than replace. I was just wondering if I have to delete certain drivers off my hard drive before I change over. Here are the 3 things I'm changing:
Mobo: Asus crosshair iii to MSI P67a-GD65 Intel p67
CPU: Amd phenom ii x4 965 to i5 2500k
Gpu: Xfx radeon hd6850 to gigabyte gtx480 super oc

I presume I will have to delete the ATI drivers before putting the NVIDIA card in but not sure of the best way to do that, or if I should do anything regarding the CPU / mobo.

I personally would do a fresh install, if you were changing to a similar chipset then I would not of worried.

Windows 7 is generally okay with drivers, you shouldn't have to delete anything.

Also, your build is still really good, I'd be very hesitant of upgrading just yet.

I'll be using the CPU and Gpu to upgrade my parents pc so I'm not throwing the parts away. It's just I'd rather I have the shiny new stuff rather than directly upgrade theirs.

Always good to have two replies telling you to do the opposite of one another by the way!

I always done a fresh install regardless of what operating system being used, it save the hassle of if you do have problems you can in some ways rule out the install and drivers coursing the problems.

given how quick windows 7 installs off a usb drive, I would clean install fresh, and there is nothing like a fresh install:)

Hmm, I think I'll risk not deleting anything at first then if theres no alarming possibilities. If I have issues I'll try a fresh install (may even treat myself to an ssd) but for now I don't really want to format my hdd.

Thanks for the replies.
