Basically I am currently at Wolverhampton University and doing Computer Science, I am thinking of changing to a different course as I feel I might have picked Computer Science "just because".

I have a few things about changing courses I'd like to know though and will be contacting someone at the University sometime this week but I am going to ask here now.

Is it easy to change courses?

Will I still be able to pay last years fees and not this years?

If I quit Computer Science and start a new course next year, what about my loan money?

And last but not least I have no idea what course I will go onto do but I am looknig at that now whilst doing some coursework.

Afaik its not that hard to change courses per say <sp> well at my uni (plymouth) its not that hard really.

As for the paying of tuition fees you have to pay for any year you have participated in if you want to enrol the following year.

The loan money shouldnt be a problem but if your tuition fees are paid by your LEA then they may not pay them. The reason i know this is that im repeating a year atm and have to pay my tuition fees :(.

Hope this brief info helps ;)

Well my fees are paid for by my LEA so that may be hit and miss like you say, which fees would I pay though if I were to transfer course though, last years (£1250) or this years (£3000).

well im only repeating 3 modules so my fees are 300 quid. not sure what youll have to pay if anything because your changing course not repeating.

I do know however that the LEA are not very eager to pay for random repeats/changes so youll have to contact them about it really.

Thought so, although if I were to change course it would definately be to a course I am very sure of this time and thus not think about qutting or changing to something else.

Fair play. But they dont see it like that.

Im repeating because i was struggling with the maths (mainly cos im a dumbass) it doesnt matter to them its all money mate unfortunately.

I would say that you'd have to cough up, but like i said contact them about it 4tw! :D

Looks like I will have to, might also have to talk to someone at uni about it all as well, just need to decide on a course now.
