Changing Drive letters

Hi..

Just a quick question. Is it generally safe to change drive letters (hard drives & DVD...), not for the OS drive (which is C), but the other drives where I keep backups or my DVD-RW?

Yes, change C (If you can) and nothing will run properly.
Fine to change the others.

Yes. Just re-direct programs to the new assigned drive
