Changing e-mail with xbox live account...

Hello,

My xbox live account is registered with e-mail ***@****.com but that e-mail is now dead.

Want to update my account with new e-mail ***@****.com

Tried to do it from account managment but says e-mail ***@****.com is already registered with an xbox live account ?????

Must be from years ago with first xbox but not to sure.

Is there anything i can do ?

Made a post ages ago and still there's no way around that - your hotmail is tied to another account and you cannot delete that account and use it to replace your ntl's.

If someone finds a way around, do share...

Yeah same here. My account is reg'd to an email I don't have anymore but I have my billing details etc to my normal email (luckily it allows you to change that).

Can't you go to http://www.passport.net and delete your account?

(I presume your xbox live account is tied to a MS 'Passport'....mine is.

Well when I tried to change it a few months back it wouldnt allow it. I will try it now see if they have changed it.
