Changing Fibre provider

With the copper phone line, we could change provider as needed. I was recently given the opportuinity to change to Fibre to the house as a company called Trooli were upgrading the local infrastructure. How does this work now if I wanted to change provider from Trooli to someone else. Is this new fibre to the house infrastructure shared as it used to be for copper lines? Or does it only belong to Trooli? Thanks fo the help.

It will depend if they are on their own network or running services through Openreach / Cityfibre / any other provider. If they are using Openreach or CF for example you can change provider as it's the same network.

If it's on their own then you'll likely not be able to move.
