Changing from a UW

Hi

I currently have a Samsung C49HG9X which has it's own issues (basically anything above 100Hz or with Freesync on causes it to throw a wobbly - it's a known issue).

So I'm thinking about changing, ideally to 4K. The UW is okay but it's not really a massive thing. I'm not stuck with any particular brand or even a monitor vs TV. The size might be an issue. Whilst I currently have 49" a 4K is going to be higher, which is not a problem, but should I go smaller bearing in mind I'm about 1M back from the screen most of the time?

Does anyone have any reocommendations?

Yeah I was thinking more in the 40" range as it would be a massive change, I have a 1440p 32" as well which I use for work which is okay but the 4K is what I'm really looking for.
