Changing GFX

Hi, I am changing my GFX card from 560TI (nvidia) to AMD 280x, is there anything to make sure I do before simply switching them over? will there be any bios/driver difficulties when the swap occurs?

Make sure you uninstall the nvidia gfx drivers first, maybe run driver sweeper or something to make sure they are gone.

Download the latest AMD drivers prior to putting the new card in save you having to bother afterwards.

Swap the cards install the new drivers and you should be good to go.

Thanks, Driver Sweeper I pressume will allow me to uninstall these Nvidia drivers or will it have to be done manually?

you can do it with driver sweeper, but i normally do it manually then run driver sweeper to make sure everything is gone.
